Does candling really work?

Our families and many of our own friends have benefited from candling as well as the many cultures that have passed on this age old home remedy for many years.

However, ear candles have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA and we make no medical claims to the validly of ear candling. How often can candling be done?

We recommend at least one candle per ear as needed. We recommend never using more than 2 candles per ear. Candling may aid the body in healing itself and overcoming ear infections, head colds and other such conditions.

Can I use the candles on my own?

You should never use the ear candles on your own. You ALWAYS need someone there to do the candling for you. They will need to light the candle and trim the ash as the candle burns down. DO NOT TRY TO CANDLE ON YOUR OWN!

Does ear candling hurt?

Candling is a very soothing and relaxing procedure. IT SHOULD NEVER HURT! If any discomfort or pain is experience at all, discontinue use immediately.

Do ear candles remove wax from the ear?

Some companies claim that their candles remove wax from the ear and that is NOT TRUE! There is no vacuum that sucks the wax out and that is not what candles are designed or intended to do.

What is the powder inside the candle after a candling session?

The powder residue is burn off from the candle and to some degree that residue will be in every candle after it burns depending on the condition of each ear. That residue is not from the ear, but in some cases can help tell you the condition inside the ear.

The most important things to consider when candling...

•How do I feel after I have been candled?
•Is my balance better?
•Is my hearing clearer?
•Don’t base the effectiveness of candling on what is in the candle after the treatment, rather how you feel!
